In 1994, Neighborhood creator Shinsuke Takizawa began what soon became known as one of the most coveted brands to have ever come out of the Japanese market. As one of the original brands to kick-start the counter culture Ura-Harajuku movement of the 90's, Neighborhood stood out as a favorite as they skillfully re-interpreted elements of various cultures from motorcycles, military, outdoor, and traditional themes. Their list of collaborations with the likes of Stussy, A Bathing Ape, Adidas, Fragment, Visvim etc has yielded some of the most sought after products amongst their loyal fans.
