Since opening our first store in Vancouver back in 2009, the city and its community have been integral to our story. The support and engagement we’ve experienced here have shaped HAVEN into what it is today.
Working once again with elite British shoemaker Tricker’s, we’ve developed renditions of the iconic Tramping Shoe and Monkey Boot. Both models are handcrafted from start to finish at Tricker’s Northampton factory in England, which was originally founded in 1829.
The HAVEN Field Testing Program is a continuous initiative with the goal of refining our products and showcasing our global network of friends, family and partners. Taking our products outside of the design studio and into a real world environment is an important part of our iterative process and ensures that our garments meet our rigorous standards of performance and comfort.
Extending our long-standing relationship with Veilance we took a selection of their newest styles into a range of environments that reflected and contrasted, but overall complimented, their form and function. From technical insulation to minimalist suiting, lush greens to earthen tones, every piece moved seamlessly between each situation.
Thank you to everyone who joined us at our first event of the year at HAVEN Toronto. Our HEX Incense Tray made in collaboration with Jeremy Joo is now available exclusively in stores at HAVEN Toronto and HAVEN Vancouver.
We sat down with Toronto-based designer Jeremy Joo in his workshop to discuss design philosophy and debut the latest pieces from our collection.
Working with the GORE-TEX brand has been a phenomenal experience, as we’ve been able to tap into their extensive range of pinnacle fabrics, allowing us the capability to provide our audience with highly aesthetic and technical garments that are uncompromising in form and function. This year, we were invited to the GORE-TEX brand head office in Elkton, Maryland, where we discovered and experienced firsthand the meticulous processes that go into developing GORE-TEX fabrics.
