Established in San Francisco in 1853 Levi Strauss along  along with Jacob Davis developed and patented the very first riveted pair of original blue denim. Initially created for the purpose of hard wearing work wear garment, Levi Strauss' jeans were used by everyone from the workers, to miners and cowboys. In the 50's and 60's the jeans gained iconic fashion status through TV and Film stars such as James Dean. Levi's became a symbol of freedom and American Youth culture. Levi's Vintage collection looks back at this rich history to recreate classic style from the archives, reproducing the vintage garments that we have grown to love.
