I just got back from my vacation in Toronto and South Beach Miami. Back to the grind in Edmonton with some pretty awesome memories and a slight sun burn… Heres some photos from the trip.
Started the trip off right with some food and drinks at Kingyo Toronto. This is towards the end of the night where the Soju and Sapporo were really kicking in. Hey Tim… who’s Paul?
Onward to Miami! Got on my tourist game taking pictures of palm trees and shit.
Got to see the famous Wynwood Art District. The majority of the district is industrial buildings and abandoned warehouses however it became a popular destination in recent years for artists in Miami. Each building became a canvas; covered in elaborate murals and paintings from some of the worlds foremost graffiti artists. Murals painted by graff artists Jeff Soto, Ron English and (one of my personal favourites) Futura has made the Wynwood district a tourist hot spot.
This last photo was taken outside a seemingly deserted warehouse. The chain link fence surrounding the area was covered in hanging stuffed animals while ominous music played over the speaker phone of the building… it seemed to me like the intro of a horror flick and left me feeling rather anxious. Made for a pretty cool shot though.
I’ll post more photos soon from the trip.
“During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in Canada and around the world. With their “Mo’s”, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and male mental health initiatives.”
We’re collecting donations for Team HAVEN Shop. Please help raise money and awareness for prostate cancer and show your support! These mustaches are going to hilarious. We’ll be posting updates on the Movember Team page. You can donate to the team here:

Very special beer Friday at HAVEN. Some friends came bearing gifts! A six pack of Carlsberg. Spent some time on the bench outside sipping a cool one while listening to Wu Tang. Feels like summer.
