The M9.0 earthquake shook my home Japan on Mar 11th and the following tsunami hit the East side of Japan, and aftershocks and blasts at Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant are still worrying people who live in the Touhoku and Kantou regions. As of Mar 29th, the total number killed or missing are 27,575, and evacuated are 175,020.. Japan needs help.

Thanks to our friends Blair and Jan, there will be a fund raising night on April 7th at Red Star Pub. Blair and our HAVEN staff Austin will be djing there. Please come out for the night and help Japan!!

Tonight! giveaways from HAVEN, BAMBOO BALLROOM, AND FOOSH

Edmonton shop dog Sisco and I took a morning stroll down a whyte ave alley to get some juice. When he stumbled upon this stoop he had to check it out, chill for a minute and post up with a gangsta lean.

I watched this movie the other night called “I saw the devil” directed by Ji-Woon Kim. I highly recommend watching it. It’s an intensely violent movie storied around a tale of love, murder and revenge. The story line is great and the action scenes keep you on your edge the whole movie. Originally only available in Korean, it can now be found with English subtitles. I’m not a fan of watching subtitled movies usually but I didn’t even notice it with this one. So many things going on these days, I forgot to mention about meeting Tetsuya for the first time. Tetsuya, I had a blast, please recover soon and return to Vancouver.

My new exhibition open next Friday, March 18th, 2011 at The Common (10124 124 st, Edmonton). I’ve been grinding away pretty hard in the studio for the last few months. Working on some new abstract pieces. Still done with stencils though believe it or not. Will post some step-by-steps later on. But for now check out a small preview for the show below.
